On Monday June 6th, 1983 it was a nice sunny day in Gants Hill village. At precisely 9.00am, a spotty 23 year old youth with long hair, and his not so spotty, but slightly balding father, opened the doors of Speedprint for the first time to the unsuspecting public…
Speedprint were one of the first independent print shops to open in the UK, the only other shops of this type were KallKwik and Prontaprint and they were American style franchises.
Today, sadly without Vincent Goode’s late father, they have managed to reach the milestone of 32 years in business. Vincent would like to think he’s kept his customers happy over the years, they have come and they have gone, and some have even returned for more!
Speedprint have made great strides in keeping up with the relentless march of technology and embraced the transition in computers, word processing and digital print wizardry.
Although there is an online printing presence out there, where you can click some buttons and order printing with an anonymous web based printing company, Speedprint continues to offer competitive prices with a personal service, recognising that there is definitely something to be said for that all important personal client contact.
Gants Hill has changed dramatically in so many ways over the years, but Speedprint are still here and continue to get a buzz from seeing a satisfied customer with their finished work that the design and print team at Speedprint have produced for them.
Speedprint are creative people and can quickly understand how each job needs to look for maximum impact, including intelligent use of colour, layout and typefaces.
Quality artwork and printing is individually targeted for each client, and your professional image can be enhanced to represent your business or service with distinctive branding and print tailored to best suit your specific requirements.
Contact Vincent at Speedprint to discuss your next design and print project. You think it, we ink it!
